On the fateful night of March 12, 1982, DSP K.P Singh was shot dead in a fake encounter by his own colleagues in Madhavpur village located in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. His wife, Vibha fought until death for justice and also helped her daughters to become IAS officers.
